Instagram creates conditions for users that allow them to choose what they want to see on the social network. Such tools include the ability to turn off comments or prohibit interaction with a profile.
A new feature to help with this is called “Sensitive Content Control,” which will allow you to control what photos and videos you see in the “Interesting” section.
Users will now be able to limit the display of potentially inappropriate and offensive content. Such as hate speech, bullying and other content that could cause harm.
To set up a content filter for your account, follow these simple instructions:
- Open settings and select “Account.”
- Select “Sensitive Content Control”
- Set a limit on Sensitive Content Control.
- Here you can leave the default setting (“Limit”) or see more (“Allow”) or less of certain types of content (“Limit even more). You can change the settings at any time.
Exception: The “Allow” option will not be available to persons under 18 years of age.
