How to set up automatic price control for VK ads
The new option works only when you select payment per 1,000 impressions (CPM) and is available for all ad formats in the newsfeed, as well as for ads in Stories.
Step 1… When creating or editing your ad, enable automatic bid management.
Step 2… Fill in the “Daily limit” field and indicate in it the amount you plan to spend on this ad per day. The system will automatically assign such a bid to get the maximum impressions within the specified amount.
You can also specify the maximum CPM rate, but this setting is only needed for the pros. If you have no cap on impressions, skip this option.
note: If you remove the daily limit for an ad, then automatic price control is disabled and the last rate set by the system appears. You can always activate automation again in the settings.
Step 3… Now save your ad and run your ad – you’re done!
In all ads with auto-driving connected, you will see a hint that the price is auto. In many cases, automatic pricing can also lower the cost per click – a dedicated conversion cost reduction tool will be released later.
