Deferred posting Reels became available to all users in Creator Studio

The Meta Creator Studio application now allows you to schedule a delayed publication of Reels. This will allow you to choose the best time for publication to get the maximum response from your audience.

Meta has been testing delayed publication of Reels for the past few months, but now the feature is available to all users.

The company also announced a new API Reels, which will allow you to schedule Reels postings using third-party tools. In addition, a Reels scheduling option for Instagram* may be coming soon.

How to schedule posting Reels: step-by-step instructions

  • Step 1: Go to Creator Studio, click “Create New” and select “Create Reels”.
  • Step 2: Select the video on your device and wait for it to upload. Add a description, hashtags, and emoji if necessary, then click “Next.”
  • Step 3: Use the editing tools to change the video. In particular, you can change the orientation of the video – keep the original or choose vertical, as well as trim the video.
  • Step 4. Open the “Schedule” tab, select the desired date and time to publish Reels. Enable or disable the ability to do remixes with your video.

Done!

The ability to schedule and edit Reels in Creator Studio can make your short videos much easier, and with Reels staying up to date, you should definitely test out the new tools.
