Facebook has announced a service for video calls in its messenger – Messenger Rooms.
Up to 50 people will be able to take part in the call, including those not registered in the social network. Initially, the number of interlocutors will be limited depending on the number of Rooms users.

- No blocks. The limits work as if you were doing it all manually.
- Safely. You do not need to enter a password for your account.
- High speed. You can put up to 1000 likes and 500 subscriptions per day.

The duration of conversations in Rooms is not limited, additional options include the ability to apply “masks”, block calls and delete users.
Facebook messenger also has group calls, but up to eight people can participate in them. You can also use Zoom for video conferencing, where the number of participants is limited to 100, and the time is 40 minutes.
Earlier we wrote that Instagram launched viewing broadcasts from a PC and began testing simultaneous broadcasting to Facebook and Instagram.
