Instagram is developing a new Stories capture mode. The new tool, which replicates the same features found in TikTok, will be called Clips on Instagram.
The development of the new functionality was discovered by Jane Manchun Wong and wrote about it on her blog, and also posted a screenshot of the updated interface on her Twitter.

Instagram Clips is a feature that will allow you to record and combine videos into one clip.
The new tool will allow you to combine several separately filmed videos into one story. Also, you can select the playback speed and add music to the video sequence.
The main goal of the future innovation is to retain the audience in the social network.
