Instagram is testing animated text in Stories. There is a separate type of animation for each type of font in Stories.

How to make animated text on Instagram Stories
To use the live text effect in stories, do as shown in the video:
Or follow our step-by-step instructions:
Step 1… Open the story editor, add a photo / video or make a solid background.
Step 2… Click on the “Aa” button to add text.
Step 3… Type the text that will then be animated. After that, click on the “A” button at the very top.
The animation will be applied to the text, which is available for the selected font. To change the animation, choose a different font.
Done! All that remains is to publish the story.
The update is already available to some users. If you don’t have animated text on Instagram Stories yet, don’t worry, the feature will be available to you in the near future.
