Instagram has added the option of posting in the desktop version. Simply put, all users can now post photos and videos to Instagram from their computer, except for stories and Reels.

To post a video or photo to Instagram from a PC, follow our instructions.

Step 1. Open the desktop version of Instagram on your computer (website: https://www.instagram.com/). Click on the plus button at the top right of the screen.

Once uploaded, a preview and cropping will be available – click “Next.”

Write the text of the post and put hashtags to the right of the photo.

Step 5: Add alternative text, if needed – “Special Features”.

You can also enable or disable comments in the Advanced Settings.
