Instagram is testing an option to hide the number of likes under a post.

You can turn off the likes counter in the same way as turn off comments.

How to turn off the likes counter for an Instagram post

Let’s figure out how the new function will work.

To hide the likes counter under the published post, open the post and click three dots. In the menu that appears, we find the corresponding item.

To disable likes for a new post, you need to go to “Advanced settings” before publishing and select the appropriate option.

How to turn off likes under an Instagram post

This will work in the same way as hiding YouTube likes. You can like it, but their number will be hidden.
