Instagram is testing music for stories in Russia

How to add music to Instagram stories: step by step instructions

To add a music score or favorite track to your Instagram story, follow our instructions.

Step 1… Start adding a story, go to Create mode and open the full menu.

Step 2… In the menu that opens, select “Audio”.

Step 3… The music selection page will open, divided into recommendations for you and a library. A selection of music by genre is available here. Select the track you want to add to your story.

Choosing music on Instagram

Step 4… Select a fragment of the track – to do this, highlight the desired moment on the audio track. As a hint when you select, you will be shown the words in the song in the selected fragment.

Step 5… Record a video with music. When finished, select the location of the track title sticker and publish the story.

The difficulty now is that those who have received this update can publish stories with music. And for those who have not yet received this update, the inscription “Music is not available in your region” appears.
