In principle, the new sticker is similar to the Chat sticker, which was launched last year and allows you to join a group chat in Yandex.Direct. The new sticker can be used to motivate people to write in private messages.

From a business point of view, if the sticker is available for business profiles, it will be a useful tool for establishing first contact with a potential client. You can show your product on the video and add a sticker with a call to action: “Write to Direct to find out more” and attach a sticker.

As we can see, Instagram is making more and more efforts to develop the format of stories and private messages. Note that the use of Instagram Direct has grown significantly over the past few years, and now during COVID-19, Facebook reported a 50% increase in total posts across all of its apps in March.
