Reengineering expert Jane Manchun Wong shared a new find. Instagram is working on a new “DM ME” sticker for Instagram Stories, which will allow users to directly direct messages with the author.
Recommended: Jesica is an Instagram promotion app (from the creators of Instaplus.me). Install Jesica on your Android phone or computer and the app will like, subscribe and unsubscribe as if you were doing it yourself:
- No blocks. The limits work as if you were doing it all manually.
- Safely. You do not need to enter a password for your account.
- High speed. You can put up to 1000 likes and 500 subscriptions per day.

In principle, the new sticker is similar to the Chat sticker, which was launched last year and allows you to join a group chat in Yandex.Direct. The new sticker can be used to motivate people to write in private messages.
From a business point of view, if the sticker is available for business profiles, it will be a useful tool for establishing first contact with a potential client. You can show your product on the video and add a sticker with a call to action: “Write to Direct to find out more” and attach a sticker.
As we can see, Instagram is making more and more efforts to develop the format of stories and private messages. Note that the use of Instagram Direct has grown significantly over the past few years, and now during COVID-19, Facebook reported a 50% increase in total posts across all of its apps in March.
Previously, Instagram started launching the Challenge sticker, and also made it possible to save live streams from Instagram to IGTV.
