Instagram is focusing on e-commerce development and is testing a range of new in-app shopping tools. We recently announced the launch of Stores and is now expanding the use of trade tags.
Some Instagram accounts now have the ability to add product tags to the post text. The trade mark is highlighted with a paper bag icon, and when you click on it, you can go to the store page.

Shopping Tags in posts are an additional tool for increasing sales. Many businesses are already using shopping tags in photos and stories, now adding another way to engage customers with a clickable link in every post.
Most likely, the full launch of trade tags in posts will occur after the launch of “Stores” on Instagram.
True, tools for e-commerce on Instagram are not yet available in the Russian Federation.
