Instagram has started testing the paid subscriptions feature. Ten bloggers in the United States have gained access to the testing.

With subscriptions bloggers will be able to increase their income, and subscribers who have a paid subscription will have access to exclusive content and additional features.

Authors will be able to set their own monthly subscription rates, add a “Subscribe” button to their profile and provide their subscribers with the following benefits:

Live Broadcasts for Subscribers: Authors will be able to host private live broadcasts for their subscribers.

Stories for Subscribers. Authors will be able to create stories only for their subscribers, allowing them to share exclusive content.

Icons. Next to the nickname of users with a premium subscription, a special icon will be shown in comments and posts.
