Instagram introduced the ability to use a digital avatar, as a profile photo.

Before you put a digital avatar, you can choose a background and a pose. Below we tell you in more detail.

How to put a digital avatar on your Instagram profile photo

• Step 1. Open your page and click “Edit Profile”.
• Step 2: Click “Change profile photo” and in the menu that opens, select “Use avatar”.
• Step 3: Customize your avatar display. Select one of the six poses and one of the background options. After that, confirm your changes by clicking “Done” in the upper right corner.

If you want to change the digital avatar itself, you need to select “Edit Avatar” on your profile edit page. After that, you can change the appearance of the avatar however you like.
