Telegram is working on a feature that will allow you to hide “spoilers” when chatting. The screen recording shows that the new option will be in the styles menu, which appears when a long press on selected texts.

When a message is sent, its content is masked with pixels. The recipient will only be able to view the text when they click on it.

The function, which was noticed by Reddit users, is relevant for those who like to discuss movies and TV series in group chats, but do not want to see text that could “spoil” the content.

However, it is impossible to say with certainty how this feature will work and look. Perhaps such messages will have a special mark or it will be possible to hide media files.
