Instagram is testing the “Close Friends” filter for incoming messages in Yandex.Direct.

With the new filter, you can quickly view messages from users on your Close Friends list.

The filter will only be available for professional accounts (Business and Authors).

At the moment, there are three filters in Instagram private messages: Inbox, Unread and Starred.

Previously, Instagram added ad personalization settings, as well as keyword searches.
