TikTok is starting to test another monetization option for bloggers – “Tipping”. The option has become available to some users in TikTok settings, and the corresponding button (Tips) is displayed in the profile.

According to the description of TikTok, access to the option “Tips” will be available to users who have at least 100 thousand subscribers, and their account does not violate the rules of the platform.

“Tipping” is another way to monetize, where users can purchase coins in the app and then spend them either on tips, virtual gifts, or to order personalized videos from bloggers.

TikTok is working on more ways to monetize to motivate users to create content and stay competitive with YouTube and Instagram.
