Community message templates appeared in VK. Use them to quickly respond to common user queries.

For example, you can make templates with working hours, delivery terms, contact information or prices.

How to make a message template for a community in VK

To create a message template, go to your community, open the Messages tab and select one of the messages.

Next, hover the mouse over the new message field and you will see that a new button has appeared in the form of a bulleted list icon. When you hover the button, a window will appear where you need to click “Add template” (after adding the first template, this function will become available when you click the “Configure” button in the same window).

Opens a window for creating a template, in which you need to:

• specify the name of the template;
• write the text of the message;
• choose one of the masks for a quick response: greeting, first name, last name, community or your first name, first name last name.

To create a message template with an address, you can use a mask:

{greeting}, {user name}! We are located at: …,

At the same time, when you want to use one of the created templates, the text will not be sent instantly, but will appear in the message input field so that you can check it and, if necessary, complete it before sending. The templates are located in the same tab where we created them.

If you have several administrators in the community, then the templates will be common for them. Also, the added templates are synchronized with the VK Admin and VK Messenger applications, in which they first appeared.
