Previously, on the social network, only internal sources could be specified as a source – other posts from VK.

How to specify the source of the publication on VKontakte
To add a content source, after creating a post, and immediately before the publication itself, click on the gear icon and select “Specify source”.
In the window that appears, specify a link to the site or internal VK page.
When placing a link, it is necessary to indicate not just the site address, but give a full link to the page where the material is posted. If you copy material from VK, then add a link to a specific post, illustration, video, document or product.
Users will be able to go to the source page with one touch. In addition, the author of the materials will receive a notification that his work has been used.
When specifying the source of the material, the algorithm for protecting the unique content of Nemesis will consider it a correct copying and will not apply sanctions.
Earlier, VK launched a pay-per-view model for the “Site Advertising” format.
