The official VKontakte community for business has announced the launch of Stories for communities with over a million subscribers.
Now publics and groups in VK, with more than a million army of fans, will be able to post Stories that will fall into the main feed. Gradually, they will become open to more and more pages.

In the picture above, we see that the recommended format for images placed in Stories is 9 by 16. Limitations for videos:
- duration no more than 15 seconds;
- the size of the uploaded file is no more than 10 MB;
- H.264 video codec;
- and AAC audio codec.
The developers recommend using stories as an additional channel for communication – notifying customers about products and services, news, promotions and much more. And as another way to attract even more attention to your business.

What does it mean?
After the appearance smart feed VKontakte, the organic reach of all communities fell sharply, which could reduce the interest of advertisers in this site. Stories are a way to generate interest in the platform. Previously, only users and official communities could post them, now large publics will also have access to them. It also follows from the announcement that the Stories format in the future will become available to all VKontakte groups.
