VK stories have now become available to all business pages with more than 10 thousand subscribers. Now, for their publication, no verification or “Prometheus light” is needed.
Community stories are displayed next to the stories of regular users, and are available for 24 hours. In the web version and on mobile devices, community subscribers have access to a block with up-to-date stories. From here, administrators and editors of the community in the full version of VKontakte can get into the story management menu.

How to make a story in VK from a group
Stories can be posted by administrators and editors.
From mobile:
- Go to stories mode from the general feed by selecting the appropriate icon or swiping to the left;
2. Shoot a video or select a story from the gallery;
3. Submit the story on behalf of the community: if you have at least one page in your management. You will have the choice to publish as your own or as your community.
From a computer:
- On the community page to the right under the menu, select Add Story. You will find yourself in the control room of stories. If you have published stories before, you can manage stories by clicking on already published stories.
2. Upload the files by clicking “Select Files” or by dragging and dropping them into the browser window. You can upload multiple photos and videos at the same time. You can also add a link to the story.
3. Post your story.
Technical requirements for files:
- vertical photos 1080×1920;
- vertical videos 720 × 1280, up to 15 seconds, no more than 5 MB;
- up to 50 stories can be downloaded per day.
For each story, you can see the main indicators: views, shares, replies and messages.
