New ad format on VKontakte! Now you can advertise sites in the news feed without the VK community.
Advertisements will be shown as a promo post: you can add text to the picture and when clicking on it, the user will immediately go to the site.

How will site advertising work without a community?
The key difference from the existing TGB (text and graphic blocks) format is that the new format will allow you to choose any platform for displaying your ad – full and mobile versions of the site, as well as mobile applications.
In the news feed, the format looks like a promo post with the words “Site Advertising” under the heading. The transition is carried out by clicking on any area of the record.
All targeting settings of the advertising cabinet are available for “Site Advertising”, and payment is made only for transitions to the site.
Technical requirements for the “Site Advertising” format
- Only links to external sites are allowed.
- Links to personal accounts, communities and other pages on vk.com are not supported.
- The payment model for the format is CPC (pay per transition).
- The ad title is between 3 and 25 characters long, including punctuation marks and spaces.
- Description length – from 3 to 70 characters, including punctuation marks and spaces.
The text under the description can be from 3 to 25 characters, including punctuation marks and spaces.
- The minimum image size for a logo is 256 × 256px.
- The minimum image size for a description is 1080 × 607px.
- The maximum image size is 5 MB.
- Accepted image formats: JPG, PNG, BMP, TIF, or GIF (no animation).
- The text on the image for the description should occupy no more than 50% of the total area of the photo.
- The label for the button can be selected from the list provided.
- Dynamic parameters are supported for ad_id and campaign_id.
