YouTube announced a massive “cleanup” of the site from fake accounts. As a result, channel owners may notice a decrease in the number of subscribers.
According to the official statement, “removing spam from the platform ensures that YouTube is for honest players and you naturally shape your community“.

Channel owners who have spam subscriptions removed will receive appropriate notifications from YouTube Studio or Classic Creator Studio.
Channels with high spam rates and less than 1,000 subscribers will be removed from the YouTube Partner program.
