YouTube is working to improve the recommendation system

We are constantly updating our recommendation system – we want to make sure we offer videos that people really want to watch“, – says YouTube on its official blog.

Each year, the YouTube team works to improve the algorithm for selecting recommended videos. The work will continue this year. In particular, it will aim to cut off those videos that violate the YouTube Community Guidelines. The number of recommended videos that may mislead users (videos advertising illegal drugs, clearly false statements about historical events, etc.) will be reduced.
