YouTube will launch a new sticker for video responses to comments in Shorts, as well as provide channel administrators with more information about recommendations.
The new feature will allow viewers’ comments to be used as the basis for a new short clip. At the same time, the comment itself will be added to the video as a sticker.
According to YouTube, the first stage of testing will begin in the next two weeks and will affect iOS users.
In practice, it will be similar to the question sticker in TikTok and Reels that appears when you create a video response to a comment.
New channel management features
YouTube channel analytics will include data on audience actions regarding the author’s content that affect recommendations.
Video hosting has also added the ability to edit channel title, cover art, avatar and description in YouTube Studio on mobile devices.
