YouTube to launch Brand Lift on TV and a new ad format

YouTube announced the launch of a new format and Brand Lift on TV screens. The service team posted a message about this on the Google blog.

Brand Lift polls on YouTube will now be optimized for the big screen, and viewers will be able to answer questions using the TV remote. The new functionality will help marketers collect feedback, based on which it will be possible to optimize advertising campaigns.

Brand Lift will be available in the coming weeks for the YouTube app and early in the third quarter for YouTube TV.

In addition, YouTube plans to launch a skippable ad format for content that is broadcast on TV screens. The new format will target more TV control devices and remotes.

Late last year, YouTube launched the Masthead banner on TV screens. It helps advertisers raise awareness to a wider audience.
